Since graduating high school in 1987, his divinely installed passion for core sport and culture, has led Jaymo on a path of discovery and pop-culture creation. From 1987-1997 he made his living as a professional snow athlete. All aspects of the snow and mountain culture were within his grasp. Competition, Modeling, Acting, Stunt Work, Education, Product Development, Music, Event Crea- tion, Brand Development. Jaymo did it all. It was a time where a new culture was being created. He is a two time Overall National Pro Snowboarding Champion. He is an OP Winter-Surf Surfing Champion. He has National Amateur Championship titles in Skateboarding and BMX. More heart and soul has been put into the pursuit of the outdoors, the lifestyle, and the relationship between the two, than anything else in his life.
Now this married father of two is progressing again. He is the founder of the NW School of Freeride. Partnering with Tim Windell and Sam Pinner has allowed the NWSOF to become a much needed service in the mountain bike community.
Alongside his work with the NWSOF, Jaymo is also the Sports Marketing Consultant for Diamonback BMX and the newly launched Diamondback HDXC Team. Jaymo is a contracted technical advisor and consultant with GoPro Cameras, specifically developing their mountain related sports marketing programs.
